Walter

Walter is wearing black and is in a wheelchair, he is blowing into a quadstick.

Walter is a disabled Army veteran from Florida. Gaming was a large part of his life that he used as a social outlet and fun pastime. His limited strength and dexterity were keeping him from enjoying games to the fullest, and he was concerned that his disability might take gaming away from him.

He got connected with AbleGamers and after multiple sessions with out Peer Counseling team, we were able to set him up with a Quadstick, which allows him to play using his mouth and head movements. Walter utilized the extremely helpful and welcoming Quadstick community to learn all the ins and outs of the equipment.

After some learning curves, Walter can fully enjoy gaming once again. It was a pleasure to have helped Walter in his quest to continue gaming!
