Anthony, a streamer and musician, got in contact with AbleGamers COO Steven Spohn to ask some questions. He was struggling to play video games with his gaming setup and gaming is one of his main social outlets. “I was struggling for quite some time with my accessible gaming set up, and I wanted help in making my experience less frustrating,” shared Anthony.

Anthony went on to say, “AbleGamers Peer Counselor Zach helped me feel like I have a voice. I found myself excited every day to wake up to new communications from him and feel like I was a part of something. That feeling has not left even though our session has come to a close, because I now feel like I have a purpose in the communities he has connected me with.”

“I’m now able to connect with other organizations committed to helping disabled gamers, other gamers who might also need help with their setups, and an online community full of advocates looking to help and be there for each other.”

“I would like to personally thank Zach for all of his help. He was so patient and kind and understanding. What a wonderful human and what a wonderful organization. Thank you all, and thank you to Steven Spohn as well!

Now Anthony is looking forward to playing Ratchet and Clank, Jedi Survivor, Kena, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty, and possibly Halo Infinite again!
